The warm welcoming by staff made our arrival memorable, but the slow service for our meals dampened the experience significantly.

Quaint Stay with Potential for Improvement
Enjoyed a lovely meal at the onsite restaurant. The staff were welcoming, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Future guests should check for cleanliness, especially around outdoor seating. Room comfort could improve but overall a memorable getaway with unique character.

We loved chilling on the sun terrace and enjoying the lovely garden area during our stay. The kettle in our apartment was super convenient for late-night tea sessions, and the pub next door had amazing food! Just a heads-up, the room had a few steps which might not be ideal for everyone, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊

Well-maintained beer garden with a bouncy castle for kids. Service a bit slow during busy hours. Nice selection of local beers.

The spacious ground floor apartment was a comfy retreat, and I really loved the vibrant local pub and the picturesque village walking trails nearby. The sun terrace and garden area were perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The only downside was the rather dull decor in the room, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. I’d definitely recommend trying to get a fan for the upper bedroom if it's hot! ☀️

Great family stop
So we spent a night here and really enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly, and the space in our split-level apartment was more than enough for our family. The pub right across was convenient for dinner, and the food portions were huge! Only thing was, the burger was good, but I’ve had better ones before.

The accommodations were family-friendly, with a great playground for the kids to enjoy. We had a lovely time exploring the nearby Mayflower Theatre, which is just a short drive away. The staff was welcoming, and the food in the pub was delicious.
In my wife’s opinion, there should be a few more kid-friendly menu options available.

I especially loved the short walk to Hocombe Mead Nature Reserve, where I enjoyed beautiful views of greenery, and the friendly vibe of the Gurkha Museum, which offered a unique glimpse into local history. the cozy apartment I stayed in was perfect for my weekend city strolls as it had a welcoming atmosphere, though the cleaning could be improved.

It was just a fine choice for a city escape in Winchester with good price-quality ratio. The instant porridge was surprisingly nice when we were in a hurry. Consider checking the breakfast details beforehand to avoid surprises.
